We are a photography tour company based in Hanoi, Vietnam, with over 7 years experience of adventure travel throughout the country.

Tour leader Colm Pierce, is a professional photographer whose work has featured in publications worldwide, such as The Guardian (UK), Le Figaro (France), and LA Times (USA). A resident of Vietnam for several years, he is a strong speaker of Vietnamese, and fluent in French as well as English.

Manager Alex Sheal has lived, worked and travelled extensively in Vietnam for over 5 years. A strong Vietnamese speaker, he is a graduate of Hanoi National University's Vietnamese Language and Culture program, during which he focused on the ethnic cultures of the north.

Our tours in Hanoi take you to the capital's most fascinating spots, such as Long Bien Market, West Lake, and the backstreets of the Old Quarter, to capture unique images of the city. Along the way, we work on all aspects of taking excellent photographs, from lighting and composition to interacting with people in the frame. Our aim is to give you a unique perspective on this fascinating city.

At present we are running an Old Quarter-based tour, Hanoi Encounter, and an early morning tour in Long Bien Market, Long Bien Sunrise.

Out of Hanoi, we travel to Vietnam's most incredible and least-visited destinations, particularly in the northern provinces, such as Ha Giang, Yen Bai, and Cao Bang. There we stay with families from ethnic minorities such as the Muong and Hmong, experiencing fantastic hospitality, and discovering aspects of their unique culture. Journeys such as these offer abundant opportunity for stunning photographs, with ongoing feedback and workshops.
